The Thorney Society

Formed January 1985 

For Thorney and its parish, the aims of the Society are:

- Collect information about people and places of historic interest
- To promote and publish research
- To educate the public and members through meetings, lectures and exhibitions about the history and architecture of the area
- To preserve features of historic and public interest
- To promote high standards of planning and architecture

Members receive a newsletter at least four times a year, and invitations to a variety of events.

Annual Membership Fees, due 1st February each year.
Standard membership - £10 per year per person
Concession (+65yrs) - £5 per year per person
Under 18's are FREE
Life membership - £200 per person
Membership is per person, not per household.
