After more than two years of closure due to building works and the Pandemic, the Thorney Society is delighted to announce that the Thorney Museum can open again. Visit our iconic building next to the Bedford Hall and learn about the village and the countryside around it.
This year we can show you our new "Thorney at War" room, with a timeline and more objects to look at.
Entry is free, but all donations of money are gratefully received, since we are a charity with no recurring funding.
Opening hours - 2 to 5pm on Sundays until 25th September 2022 (though this may change for 12th June and 28th August). You can also contact us on
