How to find us...

Thorney village is 7 miles east of Peterborough off the A47, east from Peterborough towards Wisbech and Norwich.
Please see the below information on the different ways how you can visit us by Car and Public Transport.

By Car:

  • Leave the A47 bypass at the B1040 junction, north of the village to Thorney.

  • After the railway gates in a garden on the right, you will see a large brick gateway to the Bedford Hall on the left.

  • The Museum is in the western (left hand) end of the Bedford Hall building.

  • The tower of the hall can be seen from several miles away.

  • Parking is free.
