Yesterday Thorney's Curator visited the Octavia Hill Museum in the morning, by invitation of Peter Clayton who has been involved in the Society which runs it since it started. I was invited to revisit to see recent developments and also to meet the Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Housing, Jim Strang, who was making a visit. The Museum is well worth a visit. Details are at www.octaviahill.org There are ongoing arts programmes at the Museum, including these thought-provoking colourful globes which contain examples of consumer rubbish. they look really good - until you get close and realise the message they are passing on.
